Specialist Dr. Hakan Sönmez
Specialist Dr. Hakan Sönmez was born in Üsküdar, Istanbul in 1971. He graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1994. He worked as a General Practitioner in Erzincan. He served as a Branch Manager at the Provincial Health Directorate. He completed his residency training at Süreyya Paşa Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital and became a Thoracic Surgery Specialist. After completing his compulsory service at Bingöl State Hospital, he served as the Deputy Chief Physician at the same hospital. In 2011, he started working as a Specialist Physician at Sultanbeyli State Hospital. Between 2017 and 2024, he served as the Deputy Chief Physician at Sultanbeyli State Hospital. Married with one child, Dr. Hakan Sönmez was appointed as the Deputy Chief Physician at S.B. Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital on June 15, 2024.
