Hidiv Pavilion
It was built by the Italian architect Delfo Seminati on the Çubuklu ridge in the Beykoz district of Istanbul in 1907 by the Egyptian Khedive Abbas Hilmi Pasha. It is in the art nouveau style, in accordance with the architectural fashion of the period.There is a marble fountain in the middle of the main entrance of Hidiv Kasrı, which has one of the first steam-powered elevators in Istanbul and was built on an area of 1,000 square meters.
The two large bedrooms in the building, whose ceiling is covered with stained glass, attract attention with their paneling, toilets and bathrooms. In addition to the living room with fireplace on the ground floor, another feature of the building is its tower overlooking the Bosphorus.
This tower, which can be reached by both elevator and stairs, has a middle floor with a balcony and an open terrace.
