One of the oldest inventions in history is undoubtedly the discovery of fire. Mehmet Yaldız, the founder of the museum, was fascinated by the oil lamp he found when he was only 12 years old; “I wonder how people were enlightened centuries ago?” The question led him to various researches and collecting. When he turned 18, he decided to establish a museum. Mehmet Yaldız realized this dream after nearly 40 years.
There are more than two thousand rare pieces of the past in the museum called "Means of Enlightenment and Heating through the Ages". These pieces were collected from various countries, most of them from Anatolia. One of the oldest inventions in history is undoubtedly the discovery of fire.
