
Prof. Dr. Alper KEPEZCurriculum Vitae
Prof. Dr. Alper Kepez was born in Istanbul in 1978. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. In 2007, he completed his residency training at the Department of Cardiology, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, qualifying as a cardiologist.
He worked as a cardiologist at Eskişehir Yunus Emre Hospital between 2007 and 2010 and at Istanbul Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital between 2010 and 2011. In 2011, he began working as a cardiologist at Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital. He was awarded the title of associate professor in 2014 and subsequently appointed as a faculty member at the Department of Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine, Marmara University. He was promoted to professor in 2021.
Prof. Dr. Alper Kepez has published numerous articles in journals indexed nationally and internationally. In addition, he has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences. Prof. Dr. Alper Kepez is married with two children and is fluent in English.
Prof. Dr. Alper Kepez was appointed Chief Physician at S.B. Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital on July 23, 2025.
